VentureBeat reports that content marketing has seen an additional $100 million in VC-backed dollars flood the content marketing technology space during the first quarter of 2014. As global corporations start sprouting what might be called, in earlier days, 24-hour newsrooms, always-on, multi-geographic, multi-channel and multi-device compelling engagement becomes an increasingly complex logistical problem to manage. Expect a continuing explosion of content creation, curation, publishing, workflow automation and analytic solutions to thoroughly disrupt digital marketing over the next twenty-four months. As if digital marketers in the small to medium sized business sector weren’t envious enough of their elder siblings’ tools! That said, it’s a great time for tech marketers at all levels to make a leap ahead.
